Financial Analyst III (STRIDES)

About the role

The STRIDES Financial Analyst III will coordinate financial and accounting operations across multiple country programs, ensuring fiscal health and donor compliance. This senior‑level position provides high‑level analytical expertise, supports project staff, and drives strategic financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate overall financial monitoring and support for country offices and project teams.
• Conduct financial analyses, budget reviews, and cost‑to‑complete assessments for programs ranging from $1‑20 M.
• Prepare and submit required reports to funding agencies, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
• Manage sub‑awards, assess partner capacity, and monitor budgets and expenditures.
• Provide on‑site and remote financial technical assistance, including guidance on procurement and compliance policies.
• Process invoices, consultant fees, and travel expense reports; resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Develop financial models, performance dashboards, and business case analyses for senior management.
• Document complex issues, recommend process improvements, and act as a trusted advisor to leadership.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of financial management principles and GAAP.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and present clear recommendations.
• Experience supporting multi‑country programs and sub‑award management.
• Strong independent problem‑solving skills and ability to lead on technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
