Finance Associate – Financial Analysis & Budgeting

About the role

Girls Who Invest is seeking a Finance Associate to join its New York team. In this role you will support financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and project management initiatives that drive the organization’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in managing finance‑related projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather data and improve reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
