Field Service Engineer – Imaging Systems (Shreveport, LA)

About the role

Join Philips as a Field Service Engineer for Imaging Systems, providing on‑site technical support, installation, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment for customers in the Shreveport area.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, honoring entitlements, setting expectations, and meeting arrival commitments.
• Understand customers' business environments and generate service revenue.
• Participate in regional team activities, improve processes, and identify training gaps.
• Perform administrative duties such as timesheets, work orders, expense reports, and preventative maintenance documentation.
• Utilize tools, resources, and escalation processes to resolve electronic, network, and mechanical issues promptly.
• Complete installations, preventative maintenance, field change orders, and related tasks on schedule.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in diagnostic imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, on‑call, and occasional overnight travel (≈70% travel).
• US work authorization and residence within commuting distance of Shreveport.
