About the role
Launch your career as a Technical Consultant in our Hospital Patient Monitoring business, where you’ll build hands‑on expertise installing and supporting advanced patient monitoring solutions, partner with diverse teams and customers, and play a direct role in delivering reliable, high‑impact technology that improves patient care and outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver onsite and remote technical support, responding quickly to customer issues and minimizing disruption to clinical and operational workflows.
- Support the full lifecycle of complex patient monitoring and IT infrastructure solutions, including installation, configuration, integration, and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues using approved tools and diagnostic methodologies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting activities, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, clinical partners, sales, and service teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Required profile
- 2.5+ years of professional experience in IT services, preferably in a hospital‑based healthcare environment.
- Associate degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time across the Springfield, MO geography, including occasional overnight stays.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including non‑standard shifts, overtime, weekends, and on‑call rotations.
Required skills
- Patient monitoring systems, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators.
- IT networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- CompTIA Network+ certification (preferred).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification (encouraged).
