Facilities Engineer (TS/SCI)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Facilities Engineer to join its facilities engineering teams supporting National Security Initiatives. The role covers engineering review, coordination and oversight of operations, maintenance, repair and construction work, with up to 10% local travel. It requires a current and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and oversee operations and maintenance, repair and construction work, and inspect installed equipment
• Manage work orders, service orders and projects, including cost estimates, documents and reports
• Coordinate with trade shops, contractors and field personnel, and evaluate contractor performance
• Manage project design and construction, including schedule, funding and day-to-day oversight
• Analyze utility costs and prepare weekly project status reports and project communications
• Support the Contracting Officer and COTR with acquisition planning, pre-bid and site visits, and invoice support
• Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets, recommend construction documents and oversee follow-on maintenance
• Run design reviews with the customer, integrate systems (IT, telephone, security, electrical, HVAC, plumbing) and enter data into MAXIMO
• Prepare the Contractor Performance Report at contract closeout

Required profile

• Current and active TS/SCI with polygraph
• Seven years of mechanical engineering experience
• Two years of specialized experience in the assigned field (e.g., high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, construction)
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is desired
