Entrepreneurship Teacher

About the role

The Village School seeks an enthusiastic Entrepreneurship Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction to high‑school students. The role focuses on fostering entrepreneurial mind‑sets, critical thinking and real‑world business skills within a rigorous academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality entrepreneurship instruction to high‑school students, setting ambitious expectations and supporting academic achievement.
• Design coherent lesson sequences that develop entrepreneurial thinking, problem‑solving and business planning skills.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress, diagnose learning needs and provide actionable feedback.
• Maintain a safe, respectful and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and collaboration.
• Collaborate with the High School Director and instructional team to align curriculum with IB/AP standards where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Entrepreneurship or a related discipline.
• Teaching certification or equivalent professional training.
• Demonstrated expertise in entrepreneurship content and instructional best practices.
• Ability to differentiate instruction based on students’ abilities, backgrounds and interests.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Required skills

• Curriculum design for entrepreneurship education.
• Formative and summative assessment techniques.
• Knowledge of IB and/or AP program requirements (preferred).
