Enterprise Software Engineer

About the role

Parsons is a leader in delivering cutting‑edge software solutions for the Department of Defense, intelligence community and other government agencies. Within the Space Operations directorate, the team builds innovative back‑end applications that support space domain awareness and national security missions. As an Enterprise Software Engineer you will prototype and develop high‑impact software that directly influences real‑world space capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain back‑end enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
• Support IR&D and prototyping efforts for space domain awareness projects, delivering rapid, demonstrable software solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with at least 5 years of industry experience.
• Strong Java development background and experience with back‑end enterprise application development.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, flexible environment and quickly learn new tools and concepts.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
