Engineering Tech Lead

About the role

The company is an award‑winning web design and development consultancy that partners with enterprise organisations to deliver data‑driven digital solutions. As an Engineering Tech Lead you will guide a squad of engineers in building high‑performance, secure backend APIs that power high‑traffic applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4‑5 engineers through the full software development lifecycle, ensuring code quality, performance and security.
• Design and implement scalable backend architectures, high‑performance APIs and cloud‑native infrastructure.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, project managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 8+ years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience delivering enterprise‑level projects.
• 3+ years of engineering lead experience managing a team of 3‑5 engineers on client engagements.

Required skills

• Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure or GCP, CI/CD pipelines.
• Database technologies such as BigQuery, SQL and NoSQL.
