Engineering Manager

About the role

As an Engineering Manager at Confiant, you will lead a small, high-impact engineering team focused on protecting the digital advertising ecosystem. Your mission is to enable your engineers to deliver secure, reliable solutions by combining deep technical insight with strong people leadership, process design, and delivery excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution by translating product vision into clear, day-to-day goals and removing blockers.
• Partner with Product and Security leads to scope work, balance trade-offs, and align priorities.
• Coach, mentor, and support the growth of 3-6 engineers, fostering psychological safety and accountability.
• Run effective 1-on-1s, feedback loops, and career development plans tailored to individual needs.
• Align sprint work to goals, improve planning, retrospectives, stand-ups, on-call processes, and overall delivery quality.
• Use delivery and system-health metrics to guide continuous improvement of team processes.
• Maintain high-context understanding of the team’s systems and support technical design decisions without becoming a bottleneck.
