Engineer-in-Training - Site Development

About the role

As an Engineer-in-Training for Site Development, you will support a variety of community infrastructure projects from concept through construction. You will work closely with senior engineers and contractors to deliver design solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare site, roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Produce technical memoranda, design plans, specifications, and reports.
• Develop supporting calculations, construction specifications, and permitting documents for multiple jurisdictions.
• Create construction cost models and provide engineer opinions of probable cost.
• Participate in design and redevelopment projects for private clients.
• Observe construction activities and coordinate with contractors on site.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• 0‑2 years of civil design experience, focusing on drainage, utilities, roadway, and development design.
• Ability to work independently, follow direction, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
