Site Development Professional Engineer

About the role

The Professional Engineer will lead site development projects from concept through construction, delivering technical designs and managing client relationships. This full‑time position focuses on community infrastructure projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project work plans, scopes of work, and fee proposals.
• Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Produce technical memoranda, design plans, specifications, and reports.
• Administer quality‑assurance reviews and manage project budgets and invoicing.
• Prepare construction cost models, cost estimates, and permitting documentation.
• Coordinate construction observation and contractor communication.
• Lead staff deployment, conduct regular project meetings, and ensure profitable resource utilization.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• 4–8 years of progressive civil design experience, including drainage, utility, roadway, and development design.
• Strong project management and delivery skills with the ability to supervise staff.
• Excellent client communication and team‑building abilities.
