Endocrinology Physician (BC/BE) – New Orleans

About the role

Ochsner Health System in New Orleans is seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible Endocrinologists to treat patients with pituitary disease, endocrine malignancies, and endocrine complications related to cancer or its therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide endocrine care for patients with pituitary disorders, endocrine cancers, and cancer‑related endocrine complications.
• Participate in a dedicated multidisciplinary team alongside eight Endocrinologists and eight Advanced Practice Clinicians.
• Perform US‑guided thyroid fine‑needle aspirations and interpret CGMS, thyroid ultrasound, and bone density studies.
• Mentor four endocrinology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students on rotation.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Interest in pituitary disease, endocrine malignancies, or endocrine complications of cancer therapy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
• Ability to conduct US‑guided thyroid fine‑needle aspiration.
