EMS Instructor

About the role

Advantage Ambulance is seeking a dedicated EMS Instructor to join its training team in Riverside, California. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality emergency medical education to EMTs, paramedics, and registered nurses, supporting the company’s mission of providing elite pre‑hospital care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and present EMS curriculum and continuing‑education courses.
• Maintain the training classroom, equipment, and required documentation.
• Coordinate safety activities in line with the company’s risk‑management policies.
• Ensure timely completion of all forms, CE certificates, and quality‑control measures.
• Schedule and train staff according to company policies and assist in the Continuous Quality Improvement process.
• Act as liaison between Operations and Training departments.

Required profile

• Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Current BLS provider status (or obtain within 6 months).
• EMT, Paramedic, or Registered Nurse licensure in California.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of EMS experience or experience as an EMS instructor.
• Ability to work an 8‑hour shift, Monday‑Friday.

• CEVO/EVOC certification (preferred)
