Elementary Teacher – Fourth Grade (26/27)

About the role

Legacy Traditional Schools seeks an enthusiastic Elementary Teacher for Fourth Grade (26/27) to inspire young learners and deliver a rigorous back‑to‑basics curriculum. You will join a community dedicated to academic excellence, character development, and vibrant school spirit.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct instruction using the Spalding reading & writing program and enVision Math curriculum.
• Design and implement engaging instructional activities that meet diverse learning styles and special needs.
• Select, adapt, and create instructional resources to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records, assess curricular needs, and propose improvements.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff, both orally and in writing.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the instructional environment.
• Model professional and ethical standards in all interactions.
• Participate in training sessions, staff meetings, and school events outside normal hours.
• Perform light physical tasks, move throughout the campus, and travel to other campuses as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Current state teaching certification (preferred).
• Ability to work in a physically active environment, including light lifting and standing for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Spalding reading & writing program.
• Experience using the enVision Math curriculum.
• Direct instruction techniques.
