Early Career Intern - Investments (Bank Loans)

About the role

This 9‑week Summer Internship with Invesco’s Bank Loans team offers hands‑on exposure to leveraged finance, CLO and high‑yield bond markets. You will work alongside experienced professionals, receive one‑on‑one mentorship, and participate in a range of development and networking activities throughout the summer.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in building knowledge of leveraged finance, CLO and high‑yield bond markets.
• Develop credit analysis and financial modeling skills to support credit proposals, including company and industry analysis, capital‑structure assessment, cash‑flow projections and credit‑worthiness evaluation.
• Monitor and review existing transactions, performing historical financial analysis, cash‑flow modeling, industry analysis and rating assessments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives.
