Division Project Management Office and Commercialization Leader

About the role

This senior position leads the Division Project Management Office (PMO) at 3M, overseeing a team of full‑time Project Managers who drive complex, high‑priority commercialization programs worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Division PMO, supervising Project Managers responsible for complex, high‑priority commercialization programs.
• Champion step‑change improvements to processes, tools, and ways of working to increase business agility, execution speed, and overall commercialization impact across business units and geographies.
• Partner with the PSD NPI Process Leader to ensure alignment with corporate New Product Introduction (NPI) standards and proper use of 3M Grow for commercialization documentation.
• Oversee division‑wide portfolio governance, including global prioritization and Resource Prioritization Management (RPM), to allocate resources to the highest‑value NPI and CMP opportunities.
• Build capability within the PMO and broader organization through training, coaching, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Track, report, and manage key NPI dashboard metrics, using data to identify risks, improve decision‑making, and drive accountability.
• Lead the annual NPI sales forecasting process and maintain forecast updates in partnership with business, commercial, and functional stakeholders.
• Support strategic planning and serve as a member of the Lab Operating Committee, contributing to portfolio and commercialization decisions.
