District Support Pharmacist – Part‑Time

About the role

As a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) you will travel across multiple retail locations to fill pharmacist scheduling gaps, act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy when needed, and ensure safe, high‑quality pharmacy operations. This part‑time position supports the district’s pharmacy teams in delivering compassionate patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Cover pharmacist shifts across the district as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription dispensing by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
• Provide immunizations and coach technicians to become certified immunizers.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, with special attention to cold‑chain products.
• Resolve insurance and medication issues while delivering empathetic patient experiences.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with a strong commitment to patient safety and care.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the district.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including bench coverage.
• Ability to lead and coach pharmacy staff.
