About the role

The Director, Technical Education provides strategic leadership to design, develop, and deliver world‑class technical training for Konica Minolta products and technologies. This senior position shapes the vision of the Technical Education organization and ensures alignment with global business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision for technical education, ensuring consistent, high‑quality training programs.
• Oversee planning, design, development, and maintenance of training content for products, accessories, and peripherals.
• Manage technical training facilities, guaranteeing they are equipped and optimized for hands‑on learning.
• Ensure training systems support scheduling, registration, tracking, and certification processes.
• Partner with Konica Minolta Inc., Japan, to co‑develop curricula and align with global product strategies.
• Coordinate KMBS USA training programs and share documentation with other Konica Minolta sales companies.
• Develop and mentor Technical Education staff, fostering technical expertise and instructional effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in training delivery methods, tools, and content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree a plus) and at least 7 years of experience leading training teams.
• Minimum of 5 years facilitating or developing technical training courses.
• Certification as a Technical Facilitation or Content Development Specialist.
• Proven ability to identify complex business challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
