Director, Talent Acquisition

About the role

Wider Circle is seeking its first Director‑level leader of Talent Acquisition to elevate the recruiting function across all business lines and support functions. You will drive hiring excellence, build a high‑performing team, and safeguard the candidate experience while supporting rapid headcount growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day recruiting execution across all hiring tracks, ensuring process integrity and high‑quality candidate experience.
• Own Time‑to‑Fill metrics, set benchmarks, and achieve targets for the majority of roles while maintaining candidate satisfaction.
• Build and scale a sustainable Community Health Worker talent pipeline through strategic sourcing and partnership development.
• Partner with business leaders to keep job descriptions current and craft compelling sourcing narratives that highlight Wider Circle’s “Love, Learn, Grow” ethos.
• Develop, manage and coach a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and 1099 recruiters, fostering a culture of urgency, accountability and candidate care.
• Ensure seamless hand‑offs between Talent Acquisition, L&D, IT, Finance and hiring managers, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high‑growth or healthcare environments.
• Proven ability to lead and develop recruiting teams, including both employees and external recruiters.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking and improving recruiting metrics such as Time‑to‑Fill and candidate satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills to work with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
