Director, Medical Excellence – Electrophysiology

About the role

The Director, Medical Excellence – Electrophysiology will lead scientific and medical affairs for electrophysiology products and related software used to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias. Reporting to Medical Affairs, this senior leader will partner across R&D, Clinical Research, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure evidence generation, scientific communication, and physician education are clinically meaningful and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Medical Affairs leadership and scientific expertise for electrophysiology devices, software‑enabled technologies, and associated clinical workflows throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with R&D, Clinical Research, and Regulatory to shape evidence generation strategies and support product launch readiness.
• Translate clinical data and product performance insights into clear scientific evidence for external communication and high‑quality physician education.
• Support claims substantiation, risk‑benefit assessment, and lifecycle management of the electrophysiology portfolio.
• Ensure alignment of medical strategies with commercial, professional education, and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in medical affairs or clinical leadership within cardiovascular or electrophysiology therapeutic areas.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with R&D, regulatory, marketing, and commercial teams.
• Strong understanding of clinical evidence generation, scientific communication, and physician education.
• Track record of influencing product development and launch strategies.
