Data Scientist – North Insights

About the role

As a Data Scientist on the Analytics and Data Insights team, you will shape product and company strategy by building cutting‑edge analytics, designing experiments, and delivering insights that help enterprise customers understand the impact of foundational AI on their business.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the mission forward by building bleeding‑edge agentic analytics.
• Define AI impact measurement and own the end‑to‑end analytics story for North leadership.
• Ship customer‑facing analytics that demonstrate value to enterprise customers.
• Build small language models to categorize and enrich message data.
• Design and run experiments such as A/B tests, causal inference studies, and opportunity sizing.
• Develop and deploy predictive models for forecasting, segmentation, propensity scoring, and opportunity sizing.
• Act as an owner, defining analytical priorities and pushing initiatives from question to production.

Required profile

• Strong command of SQL, Python, and Git, with expertise in statistical inference, experimental design, and predictive modeling.
• Proven ability to turn ambiguous business questions into rigorous analytical problems and deliver clear recommendations.
• Experience building and deploying production models at scale.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, managing multiple workstreams, and communicating insights concisely.
• Collaborative style, working closely with product, research, sales, and finance teams.
