Cybersecurity Instructor

About the role

The Criminal Justice Institute, a campus of the University of Arkansas System that serves law‑enforcement professionals, is hiring a Cybersecurity Instructor. The instructor will design and deliver a progressive curriculum that meets the needs of both public‑sector and private‑sector IT practitioners, enhancing the technical capabilities of students who are active police officers and sheriffs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a relevant, up‑to‑date cybersecurity curriculum tailored to information technology practitioners.
• Design and implement effective learning strategies and classroom environments.
• Deliver high‑quality instruction and present lesson plans on scheduled class days in an engaging manner.
• Support diverse learning styles by providing multiple content delivery formats such as slides, lectures, videos, and readings.
• Provide additional support and guidance to students as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to create and maintain a progressive curriculum for IT practitioners.
• Experience delivering engaging, high‑quality instruction.
• Capability to accommodate various learning styles through multiple teaching methods.
