Cyber Security Manager

About the role

Riveron is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to lead client engagements and implement GRC/Cybersecurity programs. The role involves managing day‑to‑day project activities, mentoring staff, and delivering compliance and risk assessments for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of cybersecurity programs aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and other frameworks.
• Conduct compliance readiness assessments, manage incident‑response tabletop exercises and develop remediation roadmaps.
• Implement and manage GRC platforms such as Drata, Vanta and Tugboat Logic.
• Perform vendor risk reviews, analyze SOC 2 reports and handle security questionnaires.
• Develop and maintain security policies, SOPs and coordinate project timelines, budgets and deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT, CIS, MIS or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity or IT risk advisory.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CISA, CISM, CISSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner).
• Strong client‑relationship skills and ability to communicate complex data clearly.

Required skills

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, NIST, FedRAMP, CMMC.
• Experience with GRC tools (Drata, Vanta, Tugboat Logic).
• Understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and AWS services.
