Customer Trust Specialist

About the role

As a Customer Trust Specialist at Anthropic, you will lead security‑focused engagements with large enterprise customers, helping them understand and trust Anthropic’s AI platform, Claude, for their critical workloads. You will collaborate with Go‑to‑Market, Legal, Deal Desk, Product and Security teams to simplify Anthropic’s security posture for customers and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate security terms and schedules with regulated enterprise customers, developing new positions with Legal when needed.
• Handle complex customer questionnaires, RFPs and security assessments beyond the standard answer bank, driving them to completion.
• Conduct onsite and remote security audits for strategic accounts: set agenda, guide customers through controls, resolve disputed findings and achieve documented closure.
• Present Anthropic’s security architecture, data handling, retention, tenancy and model training in briefings with CISOs, providing detailed and accurate answers.
• Contribute to the team’s library of legal‑approved positions, canonical answer bank and audit runbooks to make resolutions repeatable.
• Build with Claude: develop AI‑powered questionnaire and RFP automation, automate information gathering across internal systems, and verify machine‑drafted responses.
• Create and maintain customer‑facing trust artifacts such as white papers, FAQs, Trust Center content and architecture diagrams, ensuring security claims align with actual system behavior.
• Route identified control gaps or new capability requests to the appropriate Product and Security owners and follow through.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security programs, preferably as Head of Security or equivalent at a smaller organization.
• Strong ability to work independently and drive complex issues to resolution with minimal supervision.
• Excellent judgment in escalating or handling security negotiations and audit findings.
• Comfort interacting directly with senior executives such as CISOs and auditors.
• Passion for building repeatable processes and knowledge assets.
