Customer Service Representative – Utilities Call Center

About the role
We are looking for a bilingual Customer Service Representative to be the front‑line voice for a utilities client. In this fast‑paced call‑center environment you will handle a high volume of inbound calls, resolve billing and service inquiries, and process payments while delivering a positive experience for each caller.
Key responsibilities
- Answer high‑volume inbound calls and address customer questions about billing, service requests, and account issues.
- Process credit‑card transactions, payments, and new‑service applications accurately and promptly.
- Create and manage service orders, providing callers with timely updates on the status of their requests.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions and transactions in the system.
- Assist leadership with additional tasks to support overall team objectives.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in a call‑center or high‑volume customer‑service setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Ability to handle a large call volume with professionalism, patience, and efficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathy, problem‑solving mindset, and a positive attitude.
