CRNA Nocturnist – Full-Time with $30K Sign-On Bonus

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to work as a nocturnist in a full‑time capacity. The CRNA will administer anesthesia for surgical, obstetrical and other pain‑producing procedures under physician supervision, collaborating with residents, fellows, attendings and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration and ensure patient safety.
• Document patient procedures, incidents, and anesthesia records.
• Act as liaison between surgeons, anesthesiologists, patients, families, and co‑workers.
• Participate in quality‑assurance initiatives and professional‑development activities.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Ochsner’s privacy and conduct standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from an accredited nurse‑anesthesia program.
• Active APRN license in the state of practice and NBCRNA certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry and retrieval using Windows‑style applications.

Required skills
