Crew Leader – Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Crew Leader (Foreperson) oversees a landscaping crew on‑site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality work. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will train team members, manage equipment, and address client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Create schedules and follow job specifications, including materials and timelines.
• Organise, supervise, lead and train employees to complete projects within guidelines.
• Ensure contractual obligations align with proper horticultural practices.
• Maintain equipment through a preventative maintenance program.
• Inspect job sites weekly, manage punch lists, and identify process improvements.
• Communicate with onsite clients, respond to requests, and keep management informed of concerns.
• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce company safety guidelines.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and able to communicate effectively in English (Spanish bilingual preferred).
• Minimum two years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work varying hours based on weather/season.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of landscape equipment.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems.
• Understanding of horticultural and maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow equipment preventative‑maintenance programs.
