Corporate Controller

About the role

As Corporate Controller at Giga, you will be responsible for the financial integrity of a fast‑growing AI infrastructure company. You will lead the accounting function, ensure US GAAP compliance, and support capital‑raising activities while scaling the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical accounting areas including revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), asset capitalization and complex debt/equity instruments.
• Develop and enforce US GAAP accounting policies across all entities.
• Lead, coach and manage the accounting team, setting performance expectations and fostering a high‑output culture.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness and audit readiness.
• Manage external auditor relationships and drive the end‑to‑end annual audit.
• Partner with legal, operations and executive leadership on project financing, M&A, and capital‑raise transactions.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal‑controls framework (SOX‑ready) as the company prepares for a potential liquidity event.
• Drive implementation and optimisation of financial systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an accounting function in a high‑growth environment.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 842 and SOX compliance.
• Track record managing multi‑entity consolidations and complex financing structures.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with legal, operations and executive teams.
