Global Indirect Tax Manager

About the role

As the Global Indirect Tax Manager you will own GoDaddy’s worldwide indirect tax compliance, audit readiness and technology enablement. Reporting to the Director of Global Indirect Tax, you will work across Sales & Use Tax, VAT/GST, Digital Services taxes and other transaction‑based taxes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage global indirect tax compliance, including return approvals, reconciliations and payments.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, handling reconciliations, accruals, budgeting and SOX reporting.
• Oversee exemption certificate management, taxability mappings and transaction reviews for digital products and services.
• Lead indirect tax audits and respond to tax authority inquiries worldwide.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Legal and Commercial teams to advise on tax implications of new products, pricing models and market expansions.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement of tax processes using automation, AI and other tools.
• Collaborate with Tax Technology, Accounting and IT to optimise tax engines, ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Manage relationships with external advisors and compliance providers, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong technical depth in indirect tax compliance and audit readiness.
• Business‑oriented mindset with a passion for process improvement and automation.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Accounting, Legal, Product and Finance teams.
• Experience managing external tax advisors and compliance vendors.
