Corporate Controller

About the role

Atlantic Group is seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and team leadership for a growing organization in Scranton, PA. The role partners closely with ownership on financial strategy while driving process improvements and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and internal management reports.
• Manage and develop accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
• Oversee project cost tracking, budgeting, and change‑order processes.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables to maintain financial stability.
• Strengthen internal controls and enhance accounting processes and systems.
• Support external reporting requirements and coordinate with outside accounting partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience in job‑cost accounting or project‑based environments preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of general ledger systems.
• Payroll processing expertise.
• Financial reporting systems proficiency.
• Job cost accounting and budgeting.
