Senior Accountant – Tax

About the role

JCCS is seeking a Senior Accountant specialized in tax to lead the final completion of complex tax returns and year‑end compilations. The role combines technical expertise with leadership, supporting both client needs and internal team development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize complex individual and business tax returns.
• Conduct year‑end compilation engagements for a variety of clients.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information.
• Complete tax and accounting projects under the review of a manager or shareholder.
• Utilize advanced accounting systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Delegate tasks, supervise junior staff, and review their work for quality.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience with complex tax returns and year‑end compilations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
• Leadership qualities, including supervising and mentoring junior team members.
