Content Analyst - AI Trainer

About the role

Mercor is seeking a remote Content Analyst to work as an AI Trainer. In this contract position you will evaluate AI‑generated responses, provide structured feedback, and help improve the reasoning and rigor of large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated outputs and identify gaps in reasoning, nuance, and implicit meaning.
• Write clear, precise, well‑evidenced rationales that go beyond surface‑level observations.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure dataset consistency and comprehensive coverage.
• Follow detailed evaluation guidelines and apply strict attention to detail.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a top‑100 globally ranked university (preferred).
• Strong analytical and written communication abilities.
• Excellent critical reading skills and the capacity to spot nuance and gaps in reasoning.
• Consistent, honest judgment with the ability to give critical assessments.
• Native English fluency and the ability to work without AI writing tools.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed task guidelines.
