Construction Project Manager

About the role

Path Construction, a fast‑growing general contractor, is looking for a qualified Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in the Austin, TX area. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of hands‑on project management experience in commercial construction and a strong technical background.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver successful construction outcomes.
• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contracts and schedules.
• Handle contract administration, procurement, estimating, pay requests, change orders, and RFIs.
• Control costs, maintain schedules, track submittals, and enforce safety standards.
• Ensure high‑quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Ability to travel occasionally (1‑3 days per month).
• Estimating experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Primavera scheduling.
• Microsoft Project scheduling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Construction estimating tools (optional).
