Commercialization Project Manager (Food Manufacturing)

About the role

The Commercialization Project Manager will lead cross‑functional initiatives that take new food products from concept through plant trials, scale‑up, validation and launch. Reporting to the Sr. Commercialization Strategy Manager, this role ensures alignment across R&D, FSQA, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing and Sales while continuously improving the commercialization process.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end commercialization projects for retail, industrial and food‑service channels.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including timelines, risk registers, budgets and launch readiness criteria.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, bottlenecks and dependencies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate plant trials, scale‑up activities and validation testing.
• Drive SOP development, process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects while ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product or project management, preferably within food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.

Required skills

• Experience with SOP development and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong project planning capabilities, including creation of timelines, risk registers, budgets and launch readiness criteria.
