Commercial Manager – Oil Condition Monitoring (OCM) – North America

About the role

The Commercial Manager leads the Oil Condition Monitoring (OCM) business unit’s revenue growth and market expansion across North America. This role combines direct sales responsibility with team management, requiring a results‑driven professional who excels at both individual achievement and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sustainable growth across existing and new customer segments.
• Lead, coach, and expand the North American sales team to achieve and exceed annual targets.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior decision‑makers at top‑tier customers and serve as primary contact for high‑value accounts.
• Manage a significant sales opportunity pipeline, oversee team pipeline, and provide accurate forecasting.
• Partner with OCM leadership to identify emerging markets and refine go‑to‑market approaches.
• Mentor sales team members on negotiation techniques, customer engagement, and professional development.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze sales metrics, and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in Salesforce and ensure reporting compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years as a National/Regional Sales Manager in a B2B environment with a proven track record of managing high‑performing sales teams.
• Demonstrated success with consultative selling and complex deal cycles, preferably in industrial services or condition monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% and work extended or non‑traditional hours as needed.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
