Collections Specialist

About the role

The Collections Specialist supports CooperVision's Global Business Services by managing transactional collection activities, contacting customers about past‑due invoices, and maintaining accurate account records. This full‑time onsite role in Victor, NY requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast‑paced finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and document all collection efforts.
• Assist in resolving basic billing disputes and escalate complex issues to the supervisor.
• Monitor assigned accounts, review aging reports, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Provide prompt, professional responses to internal and external inquiries.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Collections Supervisor.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 0‑2 years of accounts receivable or collections experience.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and data‑entry accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced Global Business Services setting.

What we offer

• Starting hourly wage between $22.90 and $27.89.
