About the role
Analyst Institute is seeking a senior leader to deepen and scale its relationships with critical ecosystem partners across the Democratic, progressive, and civic‑engagement landscape. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Chief Partnerships Officer will ensure partners view the Institute as a trusted thought partner and that its programs remain responsive to community needs.
Key responsibilities
- Own and strengthen institutional partnerships, serving as the primary point of contact for key ecosystem partners.
- Develop and execute a strategy for engaging Democratic, progressive, and civic‑engagement organizations, building long‑term, trust‑based relationships.
- Shape partner‑facing products and offerings to ensure they are grounded in partner needs and easy to use.
- Represent Analyst Institute externally as a senior leader, convening actors, presenting thought leadership, and strengthening the Institute’s brand.
- Lead the Partnerships & Community Engagement team and communications function, setting priorities, overseeing work plans, and ensuring alignment across relationship‑building, messaging, and organizational goals.
Required profile
- Deep experience working with campaigns, programmatic partners, donor advisors, or equivalent organizations.
- Strong instincts for partner needs and ability to meet them at scale.
- Senior‑level credibility and reputation in the progressive/civic‑engagement field.
- Proven track record developing and selling offerings or partnerships.
- Demonstrated success building, managing, and developing high‑performing teams.
What we offer
- Salary range $195,000–$230,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
