Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

About the role

AVIR Health Group is looking for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join a dedicated team that provides compassionate care to residents in a skilled nursing environment. The CMA will ensure safe medication practices while supporting the overall wellbeing of patients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Administer prescribed medications to residents.
• Report and document medication administration accurately.
• Maintain compliance with all health department regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
• Ability to make independent decisions in medication handling.
• Previous experience working in a skilled nursing home setting.
