About the role
AVIR Health Group is looking for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join a dedicated team that provides compassionate care to residents in a skilled nursing environment. The CMA will ensure safe medication practices while supporting the overall wellbeing of patients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Administer prescribed medications to residents.
- Report and document medication administration accurately.
- Maintain compliance with all health department regulations and internal policies.
Required profile
- Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
- Ability to make independent decisions in medication handling.
- Previous experience working in a skilled nursing home setting.
