About the role
Diversified Construction & Design is looking for experienced Cement Masons to join our team! This is a full-time position with benefits and the hourly rate will be determined based on your skills and experience.
Key responsibilities
- Examine and ensure concrete forms are properly constructed and aligned to the required pitch and depth.
- Set, align, and secure forms using edging tools, jointers, and straightedges.
- Mix cement, sand, and water to produce concrete, grout, or slurry using a hoe, trowel, or concrete‑mixing machine.
- Apply and finish cement to achieve a smooth, level surface, using edging tools and jointers.
- Monitor curing conditions such as wind, heat, or cold and adjust processes accordingly.
- Apply sealants, waterproofing, and other protective chemicals to harden and protect poured concrete.
