CDL‑A City Pickup & Delivery Driver – Fresno

About the role

RLC is seeking reliable CDL‑A drivers for local city pickup and delivery operations in Fresno. This full‑time position offers a home‑daily schedule, various shifts, and an hourly rate of $33.96.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city‑wide freight pickup and delivery, returning to the terminal each day.
• Make multiple stops per shift, interact directly with customers, and operate scanning equipment.
• Complete lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack when required.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and adhere to safety and DOT regulations.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least one year of verifiable Class A driving experience in the past three years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, no more than three moving violations in the past three years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if FMCSA transition criteria are met) and able to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• Operation of electric pallet jack.
• Use of scanning equipment for freight handling.
• Haz‑mat handling and related endorsements (preferred).
• Experience with doubles/triples or tanker configurations (preferred).
