About the role
The Global Financial & Business Solutions (GFBS) team at Kelly is looking for a Cash Applications Analyst to support cash application and accounts‑receivable activities for customers across North America. You will work independently, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers, and help ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
Key responsibilities
- Perform complex cash application and payment posting on customer accounts (≈60% of time).
- Monitor unresolved payments and drive timely resolution of outstanding issues.
- Balance daily billing and cash deposits and ensure SOX compliance (≈20%).
- Communicate with management, internal teams, and external customers to resolve cash‑related inquiries (≈10%).
- Support special projects and identify process‑efficiency opportunities (≈5%).
- Maintain account instructions, documentation, and standard operating procedures (≈5%).
Required profile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data‑driven recommendations.
- Effective time‑management and organizational abilities.
- Comfort with general computer technology and ability to work across multiple organizational levels.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel functions and macros.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (e.g., IQN, Fieldglass) – preferred.
