Carpenter Foreman

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Carpenter Foreman to join its team in Springfield, VA. The Carpenter Foreman performs carpentry work needed to keep building structures and finishes in good repair. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Repair or install new walls, partitions, floor tiles, ceiling tiles and systems furniture.
• Drywall patching, painting, and adjusting and installing door hardware.
• Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models or verbal instructions, using hand tools, portable power tools and measuring instruments, and make standard shop computations on dimensions.
• Select materials needed for the work and perform other duties associated with the position as appropriate.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with reading and writing at a level sufficient for the job.
• At least 15 years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with the Archibus system.
