Business Analyst – Consultant

About the role

The Business Analyst – Consultant will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the IT organization, delivering technical solutions that align with user needs and program goals. You will collaborate closely with program managers, project leads, and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful implementation of healthcare‑focused initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and automation opportunities.
• Translate high‑level business requirements into functional specifications for IT development.
• Lead business design sessions, drive MES Modernization configuration, and ensure integration across modules.
• Mentor team members, coordinate priorities across multiple projects, and provide status updates.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators to track project progress toward integration goals.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in commercial healthcare.
• 3+ years of experience with State Medicaid payer system integration and delivery.
• Strong understanding of Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) business architecture principles.
• Proven ability to perform business process analysis and redesign.
