About the role

Santander is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Canal St location in New York. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an outstanding customer experience while fostering a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Direct overall branch performance, achieving sales targets, optimizing processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members, setting clear expectations and fostering professional growth.
• Manage branch scheduling, hiring, retention, and compliance with banking regulations.
• Utilize digital technologies to improve customer interactions and promote self‑service options.
• Handle escalated customer issues and ensure risk management and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of successful retail bank sales management experience (or 5+ years in retail sales management).
• Proven leadership, team management, and customer‑centric relationship‑building skills.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent communication, consultative, and influence skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred.
