Bilingual Part-Time Outpatient Receptionist (English/Spanish)

About the role

CRI‑Help is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Part‑Time Outpatient Receptionist to join its new Lincoln Heights facility. The role supports the front‑desk operations of a substance‑use‑disorder treatment center, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for clients, visitors, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming phone calls to appropriate staff.
• Greet visitors, screen them for clearance, and maintain the guest sign‑in book.
• Accept deliveries, manage mail, and keep the lobby tidy and professional.
• Perform urinalysis testing and generate related documentation.
• Assemble new client charts, maintain closed‑chart files, and ensure confidentiality.
• Maintain supply inventory, place office supply orders, and liaise with external vendors.
• Create basic forms and documents using computer applications.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and interact professionally with clinical personnel.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with strong oral and written communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; registration or certification with a state‑approved addiction counselor entity (e.g., CADTP, CAADE, CCAPP) is required.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a clerical or reception setting.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Word.
