Bilingual Collections & Billing Assistant (Spanish-English)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing immigration law firm as a bilingual Collections and Billing Assistant. You will support clients in both Spanish and English, ensuring timely payments and providing exceptional customer service. This role blends sales, collections, and client communication in a dynamic legal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contact clients within the first five days of a payment due date.
• Provide clear payment information and answer billing inquiries.
• Schedule and conduct calls to secure outstanding payments.
• Perform consistent follow‑ups with clients and internal teams to meet collection targets.
• Respond to client questions via Slack and other communication channels.
• Notify relevant departments about received payments.
• Maintain billing lists, use CampLegal, and follow established protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in collections, retention, or sales.
• Proven customer‑service background.
• Conversational level of English.
• Strong emotional intelligence for handling sensitive client interactions.
• Excellent communication and accountability.
• Growth mindset and openness to feedback.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team goals.
