About the role
Sei Labs builds open‑source technology for the high‑performance Sei Blockchain, a parallelized EVM Layer 1 solution designed for Web3 scale. The Incubations Engineering team is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to help shape the future of decentralized applications across the Sei ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and APIs that power innovative dApps spanning DEXs, games, DePin, AI and other Web3 domains.
- Collaborate closely with ecosystem partners and internal teams to deliver high‑impact, production‑grade blockchain applications.
Required profile
- 3+ years of full‑stack development experience with a focus on backend and API design.
- 1+ year of hands‑on experience building production‑grade Solidity contracts in a Web3 environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Go or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of Solidity smart contracts.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and Terraform.
