A&T Technician II – 3rd Shift (Onsite, East Aurora, NY)

About the role

Moog is seeking an A&T Technician II to join its Commercial Aircraft Group on the 3rd shift at the East Aurora, NY facility. The role involves hands‑on assembly and testing of high‑precision aerospace components, ensuring compliance with strict FAA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble components using mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms.
• Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and parts lists to produce accurate builds.
• Set up and execute operational tests on finished products using high‑precision test stands, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment.
• Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and recommend rework or configuration changes.
• Complete daily administrative tasks to support overall operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred) with demonstrated ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Minimum three years of experience in a related technical field.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Enrollment in Moog’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program as required for safety‑sensitive work.
