Associate Director of Account Management

About the role

Curotec, a Philadelphia‑based software and AI services firm, is looking for an Associate Director of Account Management to lead and rebuild its client relationship function. This onsite position reports directly to the CEO and offers high visibility and influence over the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the client relationship with CTOs, VPs of Engineering and technical leads, understanding their roadmap, build‑vs‑buy decisions and operational pressures.
• Drive client retention and growth by monitoring health indicators, identifying expansion opportunities and partnering with sales on new long‑term engagements.
• Support the consulting team by ensuring consultants are set up for success, monitoring performance and collaborating with HR when changes are needed.
• Build the account‑management infrastructure, including client health dashboards, satisfaction frameworks, billing oversight and onboarding playbooks.
• Set the standard for future account‑management hires by defining best practices, creating onboarding materials and establishing career paths.

Required profile

• 5+ years in technology services or software development, with direct experience managing client books or serving as a trusted technical lead.
• Proven track record of client retention, account growth and long‑term stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of technology consulting models and how mid‑market companies engage technology partners.
• Comfort discussing software development practices and technology decisions with senior technical stakeholders.
• Experience designing and owning internal processes and frameworks.
